Scientific Method: The Bead Drop

Using this complete kit, students time beads of different diameters and density as the beads drop through a column of viscous liquid. Students can graph their results and then use the scientific method to reach conclusions. Kit includes a plastic column, #7 rubber stopper, set of beads, Karo syrup (500ml), and complete instructions. Also required, but not included, are a clamp stand and two clamps.
