Digital Timing System with Photogates
|
A versatile addition to any lab, the Digital Timing System can be used to perform a variety of motion experiments with exceptional accuracy. Measurement modes, which can store and display up to ten consecutive readings, include the time of interruption of either photogate, the time between interruptions of either photogate, and the period of an oscillator or pendulum. After concluding the experiment, the control unit displays the stored values cyclically until reset. Special operating modes include counting the interruptions of either photogate, measuring accelerations on an air track, measuring velocities in a collision experiment, and timing a freely falling body (using the CP33870-00 Digital Photogate Free Fall Apparatus). Includes two photogates. Size: Control box is 22 x 10 x 23.5cm, with a 2m power cord. Power requirement: 115VAC. Not available for sale in Canada.
