In a marked improvement on the traditional pair of resonance boxes with tuning forks, we mount two precision made aluminum alloy bars on calibrated closed-end resonance tubes to give loud, long-lasting beats. One bar is tuned to 440Hz and the other to 441Hz, giving a 1Hz beat frequency that's impossible to miss! The set includes a large rubber mallet for exciting the bars, and instructions.
