Our feature-packed Engraved Precision Force Table, the industry standard, has now been even further improved.
The 40cm-diameter, extra thick machined aluminum tabletop has a laser engraved rim with graduations for accurate and easy-to-read measurements.
The pulley clamps are specially designed to conform to the curve of the circular table so your pulleys won’t wobble. Low inertia pulleys with miniature bearings of negligible friction, and a central fiducial mark ensure parallax-free angle readings.
The sturdy support rod and heavy tripod base with leveling screws give stable support.
The heavy center pin fits snugly into the tabletop for easy assembly.
A great piece of apparatus to use with your vernier or pasco probeware, probes such as a force sensor are great to make this a quick quantitative demonstration or lab activity.
This versatile piece of equipment can be used alone or in combination with our Moments Plates for more in-depth studies. Set includes lightweight centering ring, four low friction pulleys with clamps, four mass hangers, nylon pulley cord, and an assortment of slotted masses: four 50g, four 100g, two 10g, and two 20g.
