Heating Coils
|
A molded plastic calorimeter cover, 8.5cm in diameter, carries two metal rods. A coiled-wire nickel-chrome resistor of negligible thermal capacity is mounted between the lower ends of the rods. Binding posts are fitted on the top. The cover has holes for a thermometer and the included insulated stirrer. Coils are available in 2.5 and 5 resistance. Requires 12 VAC/DC Low Voltage Power Supply sold separately.
