Demonstrate Physics Principles with This Miniature Medieval Siege Engine!
Easily assembled, this trebuchet project kit will attract and keep your students’ attention. Made of precisely laser-cut plywood, monofilament line, and steel washers, the 35 parts assemble a working miniature trebuchet that will hurl a pea-sized piece of modeling clay up to 3 m.
The main lever arm has two series of holes to allow experimentation with the lengths of the projectile and falling weight lever arms. The number of washers propelling the machine can also be varied.
Instructions for use and assembly included. Finished trebuchet is 14-3/4" long, 3-1/4" wide, and 8" high. Main lever is 13-1/4" long.
