Boyle's Law Apparatus, Adjustable Form
Boyle's and Charles' Laws both can be verified using just one high quality apparatus. A glass tube with a stopcock and a glass tube with a funnel top are located at opposite ends of flexible transparent tubing. The glass tubes are secured to vertical chrome-plated steel rods by spring clamps. The clamps are easily adjusted with one hand and permit the tubes to be moved up or down independently along a white plastic meter scale. The stopcock regulates the amount of air in the closed tube. A heavy cast metal base and the rugged double-rod frame provide excellent stability. About 1-3/4 lbs of mercury are required for operation. With instructions.
