Allow us to introduce the MKIII weather station. The rooftop sensor assembly is wireless and solar-powered, allowing it to operate for many years without servicing. The MK III is easy to install and use. With a range of up to 400 feet you can place Oracle displays almost anywhere in your school. With the computer interface you can collect, analyze and build a database of your local weather.

The MK III Sensor Assembly broadcasts the weather data via radio signals to one or more Weather Oracle® MK III receivers and the Computer Interface. This means that you can have as many displays and computer interfaces in a building as you like, using just one sensor assembly.

This sleek design is only 5 inches in diameter by 25 inches high. The complete assembly weighs less than 7 pounds. The unit is shipped with two complete assembled sections that "plug" together. Connecting these sections turns the system on. The solar charged battery supply is guaranteed to provide continuous operation below 60 degrees latitude (will operate for at least 60 days without sun). The station is fabricated from structural PVC and is ultra-violet inhibited and all hardware is stainless steel. The optional tripod is galvanized steel and comes with a sealant package and lag bolts for roof mounting. New wireless rain gauge option is supported on a sturdy PVC mast that mounts in a hole in the ground. It is powered by two AA batteries which provide at least a year of operation. The maximum range is 400 feet. The advantage of this gauge is the yard mounting which permits easy access for periodic cleaning. This is particularly useful when the area is surrounded by a lot of trees.

Weather Oracle MK III Display
Every measured or calculated parameter has a display, including a wind direction indicator. Some windows have options on what is displayed. Unlike typical LCD displays, the bright LED Weather Oracle display can be viewed from across a room, under any lighting conditions. Multiple displays allow you to get the information you need at a glance. The wireless design allows the user to have as many displays and/or computer interfaces as desired. The display may be placed anywhere convenient to a wall outlet, such as on a table or desk. Keyhole slots are provided for wall mounting. Clock or calendar is always visible. Display brightness can be adjusted at the touch of a button:

Computer Interface (CC-2000) & Software
The CC-2000 computer interface is a device that will record and store weather data received from the sensor assembly. The CC (Computer interface) has 32K of non-volatile memory which allows the device to log data independently of a computer for 3 months. Connecting the Wireless Computer Interface to a dial-up modem will permit remote access to locations such as camps and summer homes. It provides both current and historical information. You will also receive both WeatherView32 and Virtual Weather Station. These powerful Windows based programs will allow you to view current and historical data. The CC-2000 has an RS-232 serial interface. An RS-232 to USB converter is available. WeatherView32 and Virtual Weather Station are included with the interface. This software will upload any logged data from the computer interface into a weather database on the PC's hard drive. It also provides a wide variety of tables and graphs for viewing the weather database. Programs have a calendar display which provides the temperature, rainfall, wind speed, and barometric pressure extremes for any month in a compact form.
