Information is presented in five modules, each with stunning images, movies, and animated descriptions. The Astronomy module features the latest data from the Hubble Space Telescope and other observatories around the globe. Sky Tonight contains an interactive chart of sky views for an entire year. It includes the planets and the moon, as well as both morning and evening skies from all directions and multiple latitudes. The Solar System covers all nine planets and major asteroids, including the latest information from the Mars Spirit and Opportunity rovers. Space Weather covers solar winds, auroras, magnetic fields, and the various wavelengths emitted by the Sun. Space Events covers the latest discoveries made in the field of astronomy. Each module contains documented data and hundreds of images and movies with web references to make it easy to perform more research. In addition, you can download current information with a single click. The software also contains several worksheet activities in pdf format. Note: The software can be run from the CD, but to use the Internet update function, some or all of the modules must be installed.
