Large and Demonstrative

Superb for graphically illustrating the behavior of both transverse and longitudinal waves, the Slinky is an edge-wound plastic coil spring about 8cm in dia. Six inches long when collapsed, it easily extends to 10m when stretched. Can be used horizontally either on a smooth surface like the floor or suspended approximately every 50cm by cord.
