The transmission of an inherited trait can be investigated with the materials in this set. PTC (phenylthiocarbamide) paper for taste reaction (taster or non-taster) is used. The kit contains 50 strips of PTC paper, 50 strips of control paper, 50 genealogy charts and 50 data charts, sufficient for 50 students and 3 generations of their families. An instruction booklet giving theory, background, correlation procedures and general population data is included.
