Introduction to Toxicology Kit

As prospective employees or athletes most students eventually will be required
to participate in a drug screening process. This kit demonstrates procedures and
techniques used to screen the body for drug use and abuse: chromatography,
polarity and pH of molecules and urinalysis. Students also become familiar with
the scientific use of standards to determine components of an unknown mixture.
Kits contains: - 5 vials of standards drugs
- 1 bottles of methanol, 2 bottles of
eluent, 1 vial each of ninhydrin, diphenylcarbazone, mercuric oxide and
chloroplantinic acid
- 1 bottle each of potassium iodide, acetone, ethyl
acetate and ammonium hydroxide
- Disposable ToxElution columns
- Thin
Layer chromatography plates
- Capillary pipettes
Complete with Rf value cards, student manuals and a teacher's guide.
