Psychrometer Kit Psychrometer Kit

WL6839      $99.50

The psychrometer, which is used to measure relative humidity, consists of a wet and dry bulb thermometer which can be rotated on the handle. Students swing the psychrometer to determine the temperature difference between the wet and dry bulbs (wet bulb depression). By use of a standard graph showing the intersection of lines of dry bulb temperature and wet bulb depression, the relative humidity can be determined. Each kit, which was developed for student use in the ESCP program includes a sling psychrometer with wet bulb, wick, rubber band and a dry bulb thermometer that rotates on a plastic handle.
