Comparing the rough exterior to the striking interior of this geode will be a wonder to students. Brownish-red rhyolite rock holds an unusually shaped, chalcedony quartz-filled cavity. Exposed to a shortwave light source, the chalcedony will fluoresce a brilliant greenish/yellow. Specimen is half of a complete geode measuring 3" or larger in diameter. With description sheet.
