Atom Building Game
|
Board game builds atoms using colored marbles representing electrons, protons and neutrons. Players take turns placing marbles and must identify the atom/ion involved. If incorrect, the player must take some or all of the marbles off the board and start over. First player or team to successfully name a series of atoms using marbles wins. Sturdy hardwood board is 20" square with pockets arranged to represent the energy levels of s, p and d orbitals for electron shells 1–5. Even the most lackadaisical students get caught up in the excitement of learning about atoms this fun way. Other activities include chemical bonding, isotopes, energy levels and lasers. For up to four individual players or teams.
