Denoyer-Geppert Giant Eye Model

Unbreakable and economical, this model has a transparent cornea, through which the iris and pupil are visible. The prominent tear gland, attachments for all six muscles of eye movement, and the optic nerve are also displayed. Once the upper hemisphere is detached, the iris/cornea unit can be lifted out, as can the functional lucite lens which, students will discover, actually magnifies objects and forms inverted images. It comes with an identification key and is mounted on a wooden base. Size: 6″L x 6″W x 6″H.
