Detailed enough to warrant close-up study. Specimen is a female grass frog, Rana Pipiens. Features both ventral and dorsal dissections. Ventral side displays the digestive, respiratory, circulatory and urogenital systems. Also includes liver, gall bladder, 2 egg masses and vomerine teeth. Dorsal side exposes the brain, central nervous system and an eyeball. Both sides reveal skeletal and muscular systems.
Cast in resilient vinyl and unbreakable even after years of use. Hand painted in bright, functional colors and mounted on a stainless steel rod with a base. Can be removed from rod for closer examination. Includes a key sheet with more than 50 structures.
