Animal Cell Model
|
The structure of a typical animal cell is depicted on this model. Mitochondria, golgi bodies, centrioles, vacuoles, ribosomes and the endoplasmic reticulum are among the many parts shown in three dimensions. The cytoplasm on the right part of the cell is removed to show the various organelles in greater detail. Nuclear layers are cut away to show the intertwined chromosomes and the nucleolus. Mitochondria and centrioles are sectioned. Constructed of colored translucent and opaque fiberglass reinforced plastics, mounted on a pedestal base. Includes illustrated key card.
