Unlike ordinary neuron models, this features a fully 3D reproduction of a motor nerve cell situated within interacting neurons and a skeletal muscle fiber. Reflecting electron microscopic revelations, the membranous envelope has been cut away from the neuron to expose organelles and inclusions.
