Flexible Advanced Human Skeleton

With the detail required of in-depth anatomy lessons, this skeleton allows for natural body movements, dissection of key parts, and identification of muscles and bones. Muscle paintings, joint ligaments, numeration of bones, and a flexible spine with nerve endings are all prominently featured. Its flexible spinal column displays the spinal cord, spinal nerve exits, and vertebral arteries along with a herniated intervertebral disc between the 3rd and 4th lumbar vertebrae. Rotation and movements of the skull on the first and second cervical vertebrae can also be demonstrated. On the right half of the skeleton, life-like ligaments are shown at the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. On the left half, over 300 bones, bone elements, fissures and foramina are numbered for reference. For studying musculature, the attachments are color-coded in blue, and origins in red. A dissectible skull divides into calvarium, base of skull, and lower jaw. Teeth are fully represented with positioning and spacing reproduced from a natural denture. The skull, left arm, and left leg are all removable. Includes roller stand and dust cover. Height: 67″.
