A rugged new interface designed to be powerful, yet incredibly simple, use the versatile Vernier LabQuest as a computer interface, a stand alone device, or for data collection in the field. A vivid, color touch screen makes for easy navigation and data acquisition. Four push buttons offer quick function access, while an onscreen keyboard offers the ability to take notes during experiments. Six channels for data collection include a built-in air temperature sensor, microphone, and sound sensor, plus USB standard and USB mini-AB ports. The device works with existing Vernier sensors and collects data samples at a rate of 100k per second. Splash-proof rubber molding provides durability for use in the field and lab. The LabQuest also includes 50 embedded experiments and a periodic table. Features LED backlight, 320 x 240 pixel display, 40 MB data storage with expandable memory through SD/MMC card.
