Metric Wall Chart
|
This colorful wall chart belongs in every science classroom, but especially in physics. Using comparisons, it defines the seven base units of the SI system and distinguishes them from derived units. Also, it presents the prefixes of the metric system and the multiples for each in both decimal and exponential forms. It contrasts metric and customary units of length, area, volume and mass. The definition of the meter is the 1960 standard. Printed on plastic laminated heavy paper, it can be highlighted with erasable markers and wiped clean with a damp cloth. It comes mounted with extruded aluminum moldings on top and bottom and eyelets for hanging. Size of Wall Chart: 42" x 29".
