Dissolved oxygen concentration in water samples is measured utilizing the Winkler technique. Students also analyze and determine its relationship to the primary productivity of an ecosystem. For 40 students (10 groups). Required, but not included: pond water, grow lights, sealable containers or BOD bottles (50), screens, burettes, general glassware, linear graph paper, filter paper, foil.
