Eco-celli Barometer
|
The Eco-celli presents a new design of liquid barometers. The Eco-celli contains absolutely no mercury yet is as accurate as any mercury barometer. The U-shaped glass tube is filled with a red non-toxic silicon-based fluid and a gas. The thermometer portion is filled with blue colored methyl alcohol. The scale is four times larger than that of a standard mercury barometer making it much easier to read. Temperature fluctuation that can affect pressure readings are ingeniously corrected by using a sliding scale attached to both the thermometer and barometer tubes. Simple assembly is required. Calibration kit is included to adjust the unit for an altitude above sea level. Thermometer scale: 0-51°C/32-122°F.Barometer scale: 975 hPa-1054 hPa. Size: 36 ½” x 6”.
