Wheatstone Bridge Demonstrator
|
Switches, instead of individual resistors, make this apparatus a convenient demonstrator. The circuit diagram on the apparatus is clearly marked for easy operation. Two of the bridge arms of this demonstrator have 0.5% precision resistors of 1, 10, and 100 ohms each, with individual shorting switches. These arms are used to establish the ratio between the two sides of the bridge. Binding posts are used to connect the unknown resistance and a resistance box in the other arms of the bridge. Other binding posts are used to connect an external battery and galvanometer. The center panel of this apparatus is constructed of clear anodized aluminum; the bottom, steel. Requires an "unknown resistor", galvanometer and 6V battery. Size: 22 x 20 x 8cm.
