Designed for use in AP Chemistry, General Chemistry and research, Genesys 10 models offer easy use, long life and a variety of per-programmed analysis modes. A large display shows the wavelength setting and the Absorbance (or Transmittance or concentration as selected), along with date and time. These units offer user instructions on the display to make experiments easier and more accurate. The keypad is used to enter factors, set up experiment routines, etc.Genesys 10’s sample compartment features a single or optional 6-position holder, both of which will accommodate 1/2” square cells or small test tubes. The compartment is lined for spill protection and includes a drain hole to channel spills away from electronics. The sample holder is easily removed for cleaning - no tools are required. These Genesys 10 units include a long-life xenon lamp. Units operate on 110/240V, 50/60 Hz.
