Centripetal Force Paradox Demonstrator
A horizontal bar, free to rotate about its center, supports two inverted jars. Attached by a short cord to each jar lid is a float which becomes a buoyant pendulum when the jar is filled with water. When the bar is rotated, the two floats move toward the center, not outward as we might expect. But since the floats are buoyant, they move in the same direction as the accelerating force, toward the axis of rotation. Rotate by hand or use one of our rotators. Assembly required. Includes instructions. Size: 45 x 23.5 x 21cm.

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
