Determine the capacitance of a plate capacitor.
- Includes all major components
- Large capacitor plate
In the experiment the capacitance C of a plate capacitor is measured as a function of the plate spacing d with the greatest possible accuracy. This experiment uses a plate capacitor with a plate radius of 13 cm and a plate spacing, which can be continuously varied between 0 and 70 mm. The aim of the evaluation is to plot the measured values in the form C = f(1/d) and compare them with the values to be expected according to theory.
