This demonstration is built to show an electric arc that rises between 2 vertical conducting bars.
- Internal power supply built into base
- Approximate voltage between the two electrodes is 15,000 volts
- Electrodes are contained in a polycarbonate tube
- Minimal current is applied
This demonstration is built to show an electric arc that rises between 2 vertical conducting bars which are placed close together at the bottom and narrow at the top. Once the arc reaches the top of the bars (ladder) it vanishes and another is generated at the bottom and the cycle repeats.
