This permanently-installed device provides both visual and audible alarms to alert the user of abnormal airflow conditions. From the monitors face plate, the user can easily select and calibrate a setpoint between 30 and 250 fpm using a velocity meter and screwdriver. A green Safe light indicates normal flow conditions. When flow conditions lower than the set point are encountered, a red Low is activated and an audible alarm sounds. If configured, an amber Sash High light flashes when the sash is raised above the safe working opening. Pressing the Mute button temporarily silences the alarm. The monitor has a built-in sensor, three relay inputs and one relay output. The relay inputs can be configured for night setback, external alarm and sash high alarm.
