The 3B SCIENTIFIC MRI TORSO MODEL WE HAVE AT BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE DELANO CAMPUS WAS HELPFUL FOR STUDENTS TAKING ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY BECAUSE IT HELPS THEM TO SEE THE HUMAN ORGANS IN THREE DIMENSIONS, WHICH IS SIMILAR TO A REAL MRI. THIS 3B MRI TORSO MODEL IS VERY HELPFUL AS A LEARNING TOOL FOR THOSE WHO ARE PURSUING A CAREER ON RADIOLOGY OR MRI.

The model provides medical technology students with a better idea of how magnetic resonance tomography and ultrasound processes work. The torso is sliced horizontally from head to pelvis in 15 sections, providing a unique presentation that anatomy and pathology students will appreciate.

Anatomical structures are colored and detailed in relief on each part of the model. The sections, attached to a stand, can be rotated out one at a time or in groups for up-close comparative study.
