Altay® Introductory Sexless Torso Model
Sixteen Parts for Basic Anatomy Studies

Extreme attention to accuracy and detail is given to all major organ systems identified on this human torso replica. To offer close, unrestricted viewing of internal structures, the torso’s head is open to expose half of the brain; the neck is dissected ventrally to expose muscular, neural, vascular and glandular structures; and the thorax and abdomen are completely open. Removable structures also allow for hands-on learning — half of the brain, eye, descending thoracic aorta and esophagus, right and left lungs, two-part heart, half of one kidney, urethra and urinary bladder with prostate, stomach, pancreas, duodenum and spleen, liver, and the small and large intestine all detach from the torso model. Sturdily mounted on a base, the model includes an interactive CD-ROM with accompanying illustrations and text. Size: 35 1/2"L x 13"W x 9"D.
