Our Most Economical Open-Back Torso

Seventeen parts comprise this unisex life-size torso model with sectioned head to reveal half of the brain and a neck dissected through the ventral surface to show muscular, glandular, vascular, and neural structures. For an unrestricted view of internal structures, the thorax and abdomen are completely open; and the back is dissected to reveal muscular layers, vertebral column, spinal cord, and nerve branches. One thoracic vertebra is removable for detailed examination of its structure and association with the spinal cord. Removable parts include half of the brain, eye, right and left lungs, descending thoracic aorta and esophagus, two-part heart, half of one kidney, one whole kidney, urethra and urinary bladder with prostate in two parts, stomach, pancreas, duodenum and spleen, liver, small and large intestine with removable cover over portion of caecum, and 12th thoracic vertebrae (T12) with spinal cord. Securely mounted on a base, the model comes with an interactive CD-ROM with accompanying illustrations and text. Size: 35 1/2"L x 13"W x 9"D.
