Buckminsterfullerene C60 Molymod Model

The famous “Buckyball” comes to life, at a price you can afford! If you’ve been disappointed by flimsy models that don't do the structure justice, or by having to make your own models with leftover parts from other sets, then check out the Molymod Buckminsterfullerene model. With this set you can build a sturdy C60 molecule, as visualized by its famous namesake inventor Buckminster Fuller. The model is eight inches in diameter when fully assembled. The unique design of the Molymod C60 model allows you to add hydrogen atoms (C60H60) or to create Halogen derivatives (fuzzy balls). Comes complete with a sturdy plastic storage box and clearly illustrated instructions.
