Dilatometer (Thermal Expansion Apparatus)

Users can simultaneously measure and compare the thermal expansion coefficients of rod-shaped bodies with this unique demonstration. Three rods are made of different materials respectively: brass, aluminum, and glass. A vapor generator evenly heats each rod, and a mirror scale displays the linear expansion of the rods via three rollers with different-colored pointers.

The dilatomer features 230V, 50/60Hz, 550W. Its dimensions are 83 x 8 x 7 cm, and it weights 2⅗ lb. It can also be used at lower power: 115V.
