Modern, More Efficient Tubes for General Lab Work.
- Extra sensitivity
- Improved counting efficiency
These general-purpose Geiger-Muller probe assemblies offer improved counting efficiency over smaller models, allowing the use of less-active radioisotope samples. Features include a mica window ≤ .2 mg/cm2; 900V operation, ≥150V plateau; and 150μs dead time. The large window area gives good photon efficiency for detecting low activity samples, and the thin end window construction makes the assembly suitable for with α, β;, τ radiation. The stand has ten shelf positions for accurate inverse square law measurements and for working with absorber sets. Includes planchet to hold sources and samples. GM probe is removable for external surveys and demonstrations. Requires BMC cable, not included.
