The Fiber Optics Holder holds the end of the fiber optic probe of a digital spectrometer in place when in front of the illuminated spectrum tube in the Carousel Power Supply, allowing the probe to be positioned optimally to receive the maximum amount of light from the tube. It also holds the probe end at a consistent safe distance from the tube surface.
