The materials in our AP Lab Kits are easy for students to use, and reliable for delivering accurate results. Kit materials accommodate 40 students or 10 lab groups. Refill kits are also available for each kit with enough supplies for 10 lab groups.

Dissolved oxygen concentration in water samples is measured utilizing the Winkler technique. Students also analyze and determine its relationship to the primary productivity of an ecosystem. For 10 lab groups. Duration: 2 hours or two lab periods.

Kit contents:
• Sodium iodide
• Sodium thiosulfate
• Sodium hydroxide
• Nitrogen enrichment concentrate
• Manganese sulfate
• Phosphorous enrichment reagents
• Starch solution

Required, but not included: pond water, grow lights, sealable containers or BOD bottles (50), screens, burettes, general glassware, linear graph paper, filter paper, foil, pipets, eyedroppers, sulfuric acid, and personal safety equipment.
