Measure Magnetic Properties Accurately and Quickly

Detect the number of magnetic phases present in a sample with this precision device that accounts for eddy currents and sample cross-sectional area, making it more accurate than comparable apparatus. Using this magnetic hysteresis loop, students obtain the magnetic properties of materials and gain full understanding of coercivity, retentivity, saturation magnetization, and hysteresis loss. This convenient set-up can accept simple samples of thin wires of different diameters, then quickly and accurately measure their magnetic properties. With this device there is no more need to create complicated sample geometries and no more slow and laborious ballistic galvanometer method. Demagnetization effects, differing diameters and eddy currents have been taken into account within the design. Includes a set of samples (wires of Nickel, and different grades of iron). An additional cathode ray oscilloscope is required, but not supplied. 110/220 V, 50 Hz/60 Hz.
