The hand-operated planetarium includes models of the Sun, Earth, and the Moon. A gear drive rotates the Earth to illustrate the differences between day and night, and the Moon revolves around the Earth to show the phases and eclipses that can occur.

Fallen out of orbit! - On delivery, planet earth was not attached to its pole. "Hand operated"; isn't there at least a handle to grasp to put the celestial objects in motion. Earth features are a series of decals. They are shoddily applied and some peeling of decals is already occurring.
