Ray Box Optics Set

A Great Choice for Table Top Demonstrations of Basic Optics.

Both lenses and prisms are cut from an ¹/₂" thick slab of clear acrylic. Each optical surface is ground and polished to very close tolerances and frost the side on which each rests to make the light path through each element clearly visible. The longest dimension of each element is always 9cm. Four all cylindrical lenses are included for working in the plane of the table top, double-convex, double-concave, semi-circular and circular; two prisms; a 45° right triangle; a 45°/60°trapezoid; two highly polished mirrors, one plane and another both convex and concave; and three colored acrylic filters.
