Easily Measure Melting Point Up To 250° C

Now you can safely demonstrate and measure changes in states of matter in your classroom and laboratory. This economical apparatus consists of an aluminum alloy cylinder, which features a slanted hole drilled in the top to hold thermometers. Simply place your sample on the top of the cylinder as it heats over a bunsen burner. The thermometer allows you to record from a safe distance, the temperature at which the substance melts. Size: 2 1/2" dia. x 2" H.
