Operation involves a coil of wire, a magnet, and a battery.
Electricity runs through the coil, and a magnetic field is formed. The coil pushes away from the magnet with enough force to turn it around. As the coil turns, it becomes charged and spins.
Ordering information: This kit includes assembly instructions and suggested experiments. A D cell battery is required but not included.
