Operation involves a coil of wire, a magnet, and a battery.

Electricity runs through the coil, and a magnetic field is formed. The coil pushes away from the magnet with enough force to turn it around. As the coil turns, it becomes charged and spins.

Ordering information: This kit includes assembly instructions and suggested experiments. A D cell battery is required but not included.

Caution: Caution:This product has small parts. It is not for children under three years. CHOKING HAZARD. It contains a small magnet. Swallowed magnets can stick together across intestines causing serious infections and death. Seek immediate medical attention if a magnet is swallowed or inhaled.
