Our Track System provides you with the compact components to make lecture sized apparatus. The system can be configured for a variety of experiments involving kinetic and potential energy, acceleration and linear motion. Tracks are made of 10mm steel tubing mounted on steel cross ties that accept standard 10mm support rods clamped on laboratory support stands. You can buy track in 1 meter sections with male and female ends for assembly and a 5cm long flexible coupling for changing the slope. We recommend you use our 1" steel ball. Create a looped track, by adjusting the slope of the incline, the ball can be made to just travel around the loop without falling. Additional track lengths can be added for a longer run out or incline.
